“Do something! You are democracy” – AI for democracy meets brand eins

At the beginning of April, the “AI for Democracy” initiative had the opportunity to introduce itself to around 35 committed teachers as part of the SEEd project in Kiel. SEEd (Social Entrepreneurship Education) stands for future-oriented educational work – and that is precisely where we come in: using AI to combat disinformation and promote media literacy in the classroom. Our approach of analyzing right-wing posts, preparing them for educational purposes, and making them usable for educational work met with great interest.

What was particularly gratifying was that more than a dozen teachers spontaneously agreed to support us in developing appropriate teaching materials. This feedback and commitment show us how important our project is – and that we can achieve a lot together with educational practice.
